Field Service Technician II

Location: Tualatin, OR

Major duties

Perform intermediate to advanced customer support activities involving the installation, modification and repair of equipment and systems with a goal of 100% uptime and continual improvement in reliability. Isolate equipment start-up malfunctions and takes corrective action. Prepare daily logs and reports on work performed. Serve as the liaison between customer and Celerity, Inc. on all support and service issues related to the assigned site. Coordinate prompt response to technical issues received from the customer. Remain current on technical and process knowledge to properly support Celerity, Inc. products. Provide input to improve system design, performance, and technical documentation. Comply with safety procedures as they apply to job responsibilities. Work independently with moderate supervision.

Essential requirements

Ability to utilize troubleshooting and problem solving to improve performance. Ability to evaluate the equipment and processes to provide suggestions on improving performance. Ability to operate around hazardous chemicals. Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment. Requires the ability to travel independently 60-70%. Ability to work on-call during off-shift hours, including weekends. Solid verbal and written communication skills. Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Vocation or technical training preferred. 2-3+ years previous technical or related work experience required. Previous troubleshooting and Allen Bradley SLC Ladder Logic programming experience preferred. Valid commercial truck driver's license and applicable endorsements required. Experience working in a clean room environment preferred.
