Major duties

Design and analyze mechanical systems, equipment and packaging for a company that designs and produces high performance gas and chemical delivery process modules. Specifically, conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs. Assist in the generation of manufacturing assembly procedures and instructional manuals. Document designs with drawings, specification and materials lists. Manage projects from inception to completion, overseeing work of designers/drafters. May be assigned to various projects that utilize skills.

Essential requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field followed by 5 years progressive experience in the job offered or related Mechanical/Design Engineer occupations

Additional requirements

Experience and/or education must include:
1) Mechanical Engineering and Systems Design experience;
2) Semiconductor OEM equipment;
3) Project management from inception to completion, including supervision of subordinate employees;
4) Use of Pro/Engineer (CAD) to create drawings, models, and tool assemblies.
