Major duties

The successful candidate will perform supplier audits, manage and report on supplier performance. Will work in other areas of quality to develop, apply and maintain quality requirements for processing components and other materials into finished goods and products. Will apply advanced statistical processing control techniques. Initiate corrective action for procedural, product or process deficiencies for yield enhancement and process improvements. Lead multifunctional teaming efforts directed at continual process improvement and cost reductions. Execute and evolve quality assurance best practices that promote the elimination or reduction of defect opportunities. Conduct detailed root cause and corrective actions. Prepare reports and presentations for customers. Prepare management reports summarizing quality assurance activities.

Essential requirements

We require five years minimum of quality related experience. BS/BA degree required; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Thorough understanding of ISO 9001:2000. CQE, CQA preferred. It is preferred that the candidate have a quality background within similar industry (semiconductor, capital equipment, or machining and fabrication.) Prior Supplier Quality management experience. Motivated, self-directed individual with excellent organizational skills. A Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Manufacturing orientation is preferred. Ability to exercise judgment within established company policies and procedures, following established safety and quality requirements. Oracle, Agile user experience a plus.
