Applications Engineer III

Location: Allen, TX

Major duties:

Perform engineering design and analysis. Identify problems and propose operational solutions to projects and tasks that are complex in nature. Ensure proper controls are in place and document supporting evaluations and analyses. Communicate nature and status of work performed to appropriate management. Prepare technical description section for various proposals, including cost benefit studies. Propose and initiate test programs and evaluate results. Identify and assist in development of new business opportunities. Coordinate pre-sale feasibility cost and time estimates. Supervise post-sale design and development of Celerity purification/separation products and systems. May make substantial modifications to standard techniques. May direct the activities of other employees within the department. Work independently with minimal supervision. Other duties may be assigned.

Essential requirements:

B.S. or equivalent work experience, or combination of education and experience required. 4-6+ years engineering or related experience required. Previous project management experience required. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, practices and procedures required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills. Advanced AutoCAD skills. Ability to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, bend and lift up to 25 lbs.
