Engineer I
Location: Allen, TX
Major duties:
Position is required to provide engineering analysis on incoming customer requests for quotes. Will interpret customer specifications and/or schematics to assess engineering man hour estimates, develop quote BOMs and cost estimates. Position will interface with customers, sales, engineering, manufacturing, and Supply Chain representatives to thoroughly understand requirements, develop complete or abbreviated BOMs, and prepare proposals and quotations. Will assist in the development of quotation/estimation tools for gas and/or chemical delivery systems.
Essential requirements:
This position requires a 4 year college degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2 years experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including gas and chemical delivery systems. Must have experience preparing proposals and quotations as well as detail oriented communication skills for both external and internal communications. Must have a thorough understanding of BOM structure and BOM creation. Must have working knowledge of primary OEM component manufacturers and products. Agile/AutoCad/Inventor experience is a plus. Oracle and MS Office products knowledge a plus. Candidate should have a working knowledge of AMAT structure trees.
