Test Technician
Location: Allen, TX
Major duties:
Develop rest and Measurement methods, calibration procedures and hands-on validation of new product concepts. Provide pilot production services or small volume manufacturing as needed. Work with colleagues to develop, prototype and document design content, manufacturing acceptance criteria and product performance scorecards prior to product design freeze. Focus on detail data and procedures for process control instrumentation that enable world class gas delivery solutions targeting advanced semiconductor manufacturing processes. Other duties may be assigned.
Essential requirements:
Associates in engineering and minimum of 5 years experience. Recent experience in design of experiments, data analysis, and failure analysis while working with high performance industrial instrumentation or similar technology on a laboratory is required. Must be able to read schematics, engineering drawings, troubleshoot PCB and electromechanical assemblies to root cause, implement corrective action and document results. Use statistical methods to analyze test data. Practical knowledge of closed loop control systems, data acquisition, process sensors and actuators is desired. Must be able to write engineering change orders and work with design engineers to deliver engineering drawings and procedures that describe how to assemble and test new product.
