Mark Hutson

President/COO

Mark Hutson brings over 25 years of operations and supply chain management experience to his current position as Senior Vice President of the Integration Division at Celerity. He is responsible for global operations, including manufacturing of gas delivery systems and high purity welding components, as well as complete P&L responsibilities for manufacturing operations in Austin, Portland, Singapore and Malaysia.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Hutson has held a variety of executive positions at Celerity over the last several years, including Vice President of Operations of the Austin operations from 2005 through 2007, where he was responsible for complete P&L of the business unit and for all day-to-day activity and operational performance. From 2004 through 2005, Mr. Hutson worked as Vice President of Supply Chain, where he was responsible for all supplier contracts and programs as well as maintaining the strategic alignment with supply chain for the entire enterprise, sourcing and creating vendor managed programs for approximately $100M of spend in materials. In 2003, Mr. Hutson started his career at Celerity as Vice President of Ireland operations, where he was responsible for transitioning the merger of two manufacturing sites into a single business unit, P&L responsibilities, operational performance and customer satisfaction.


David J. Shimmon

Board Advisor

David J. Shimmon brings over 16 years of semiconductor industry experience to his role as Board Advisor at Celerity. He is continuously seeking to advance the company’s leadership by focusing on critical growth opportunities and industry partnerships, with an emphasis on increasing market share and expanding Celerity’s portfolio of innovative products and services solutions. Prior to his current role, he served as the company's chairman and CEO from July 1996 through August 2006.

Mr. Shimmon became involved in the semiconductor industry in 1990 when he led Kinetics Holdings from a small regional concern to a leading dollar provider of high-purity products. Through organic growth and a series of acquisitions, he expanded the company and oversaw the formation of Celerity in 1997. In 1997, he led the sale of Celerity/Kinetics to United States Filter Corporation – a Fortune 500 company – and served as president and chief operating officer of US Filter. Subsequently, he co-led the sale of US Filter to Vivendi S.A.

Mr. Shimmon maintains close contacts and has key alliances with leaders and innovators in technology, education, and government communities. In recent years, Mr. Shimmon has increased his involvement in issues related to growth, infrastructure and development policies impacting Silicon Valley. He is a board member of both the Silicon Valley Leadership Group and The Tech Museum in San Jose, California.


Mark A. Thomas

Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Mark Thomas joined Kinetics, Celerity’s predecessor, in 1994. Mr. Thomas has held a number of roles within Celerity, including Vice President Gas Delivery Product Management, Vice President of Account Management, Vice President of Applied Materials and Lam Research Account and Director of Products at Kinetics.

Phil R. Barros

Vice President, Engineering
Phil Barros has over 10 years of product development experience in the semiconductor industry.  Prior to joining Celerity, Mr. Barros was employed with Applied Materials. He holds several granted and pending patents related to gas and chemical delivery systems and their use in semiconductor manufacturing.

Ron Lacey

Kim McGuire

Sr. Director, Portland
Kim McGuire joined Celerity in 2007 as Director of Operations of the Portland facility.  His responsibilities include managing operations metrics and the full P&L for the Portland site. Mr. McGuire worked at Credence Systems and served as Director of Operations at Compaq Computers from 1993 through 2002.

Geoff Chriswisser

Sr. Director, Materials & Gen. Manager, Plant Operations, Austin
Geoff Chriswisser is responsible for managing purchasing, logistics and strategic planning organizations for various global sites. He is also responsible for managing plant operations at Celerity’s Austin, Texas plant. During his 14 year tenure with Celerity, Mr. Chriswisser has held multiple roles, including Engineering Manager, Sales/Technical Manager and Planning/PM Manager
